Alcoa 7075
Aluminum 3mm Chassis |
 |
|
A
rigid lightweight frame is always a prime
ingredient for winning a race.
The strength of a lightweight 3mm Alcoa Aluminum
chassis improves speed and handling, keeping
the car balanced and in control.
Special cutout sections prevent debris build-up
and makes cleaning the chassis effortless. |

New Aluminum Rear
Side Plate |
 |
|
|
One of the features that got
our attention was the rear side plate.
This section of the vehicle provides the basis
for joining the chassis, upper deck and
transmission into one solid unit.
We listened to you the
racer. You wanted a car that could survive the
heat and stress of racing and give you one less
thing to worry about.
Using aluminum in this most critical area
increases the strength and durability of the
entire car. So when you get slammed or
rolled in a tough race, the G4+ EVO can hit the
ground running.

New Aluminum
Upper Arm Mount and Impact Resistant
Bumper |
 |
|
|
Enhancing the performance and
durability of the G4+ EVO is not a matter of
throwing aluminum everywhere.
Maximizing the effectiveness of aluminum parts
requires testing, forethought and a working
knowledge of physics.
That’s why we upgraded the Upper Arm Mount to
aluminum to add just the right amount of
toughness without compromising weight.
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
|
|
There are also components of
the car that perform better using
high-strength composite plastics, like the New
Impact Resistant
Bumper.
The new split design absorbs the impact rather
than transferring the energy of a collision to
more vital components. This keeps repairs down
and your EVO up and running.
The classy logo on top is a nice touch too.

Lightweight
Materials Where it Counts |
|
|
|
We’ve included a Lightweight
Solid Front Axle to reduce the rotating mass and
unlike a front one-way,
the solid axle provides more stability when
braking before a turn.
The Lightweight Pulley Set also reduce rotating
mass and increase belt life .

New Adjustable Shock
Tower
|
 |
|
|
You asked
for more shock adjustment points, we gave you
more and then some.
The new Lightweight Shock Tower allows you to
fine tune your suspension for any track
condition or layout.
Built from tough-as-nails high-impact
composites, the fear of component failure is
eliminated.

Redesigned 2 Speed Housing and Clutch
bell |
 |
|
|
With a bigger
bearing driving the 2 Speed Housing look for
longer wear and more precise movement from the
heart of your transmission.
Designed to dissipate heat and provide a smooth
transfer of power when you need it, the
new 2 Speed Housing gives you peace of mind as
you launch down the straightaway and kick into
high gear.
The 2 Speed Clutch Bell has been beefed up with
high-strength steel instead of aluminum.
With the new high acceleration gearing of the
G4+ EVO, steel was the obvious solution to
increase durability and handle the high torque
and stress of immediate acceleration
and increased mid-range throttle response.

New K-Factory Shocks
|
 |
|
|
The G4+ EVO also includes it
own set of modified K-Factory LX shock
absorbers. These new shocks are smoother,
stronger and much easier to use and maintain.
Thanks to a completely redesigned shock system,
a new level of performance has been achieved.
Frictionless shock caps, clip on spring
retainers and a new threaded shock body are just
some of the changes made. Black caps finish the
package and look simply awesome bolted to the
G4+ EVO.

Flying Wing Suspension (Front and Rear) |
 |
|
|
Less time maintaining and more
time racing is a common goal among R/C car
drivers. The G4+ EVO helps accomplish this
thanks to its flying wing suspension arms.
Manufactured without any holes in the wishbones,
a quick wipe with a damp cloth or brush will
remove any dirt or foam quickly and easily. No
small holes or corners which are always
painfully difficult to clean. In addition to
quick maintenance, the Flying Wing Suspension
arms are lighter and stronger then the standard
G4 armsThe new design also reduces air
turbulence as it cuts through the air with ease,
reducing drag and increasing your chance of
reaching the finish line first.

Quick Change Front and Rear Diffs |
 |
|
|
Accessing the differential
area of an on road gas car is one of the most
time consuming and painful procedures around.
Fortunately the G4+ EVO is here to change that.
The car now has the fastest differential access
system in the industry. Only 8 screws hold both
the front and rear differentials in place! This
type of setup offers a massive reduction in
maintenance and wrenching time on the car. Now
differentials can be tuned or swapped out in a
matter of minutes.

K-Factory A+C Hop-ups |
 |
|
|
Crafted from 1K Carbon Fiber
and 7075 aluminum, the K-Factory A+C side plates
offer the perfect balance between strength and
weight reduction.
Both side plates are responsible for completing
the cage-design of the chassis and holding the
radio tray in place. Areas of the aluminum side
plates which weren’t under high stress were CNC
machined to reduce weight even further.
After machining they are polished to a beautiful
finish. Carbon fiber plus aluminum; providing
the racer with the best of both world.

A Touch of Gold |
 |
|
|
To add to the G4+ EVO’s unique
look, Team Magic included gold anodized steel
turnbuckles. Lightened to reduce weight, the new
turnbuckles really give a high quality look to
the G4+ EVO.
Style won’t make you go faster but it sure looks
good next to a checkered flag.

|
|
 |
|
|
|
A new bearing set is included
with the G4+ EVO which improves the cars
durability and improves transmission smoothness.
The new ZF bearings feature tighter knit balls
so now each ball within the bearing is carrying
less load. Reducing the load means reducing
engine sapping friction.
Also included are new red seals which are a
frictionless barrier between the internals of
the bearing and dirt or dust. The G4+ now
accelerates faster and is more durable than any
on road gas touring car before it.

 |
|
Front and Rear Adjustable Wheelbase |
 |
|
|
Handling and performance
improvements come from increased adjustability
to the chassis’s suspension geometry. The front
and rear suspension arms can now be moved to
change the cars wheelbase. Lengthen the
wheelbase for greater track stability or shorten
it for improved turning capabilities. Caster is
linked to wheelbase changes so caster
adjustments have increased from 4mm to 6mm. This
allows the driver to match previous set caster
angles during wheelbase adjustment.
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
|
|
The G4+ EVO also gets the
benefits of the ED transmission system. The ED
transmission system offers improved acceleration
right through the entire rev range and higher
top speeds thanks to its revised internal gear
ratio. This K-Factory hop-up option is created
by the racers for racers and is therefore the
perfect match for the G4+.
